Kim and I went to OMS headquarters in early January to be recognized for 25 years of ministry with OMS! OMS President Bob Fetherlin and his wife, Esther, presented us with a beautiful engraved clock. Our daughter Danya was able to be with us. It has been an honor to serve the Lord in the Philippines and now globally with OMS through CIT, the Lausanne Movement, and Gordon-Conwell Seminary. We could not have served so long without the prayers and financial support of so many. We look forward to the next 25 years. Praise the Lord!

The next big event on the horizon is a trip to Thailand in early March for a global consultation of the Lausanne Movement on “Wealth Creation for Holistic Transformation”. Brent will be going there to interview experts and leaders on this topic in order to produce another Global Classroom. Pray for that trip, and pray for all the other Global Classrooms currently being worked on. We hope to release one in a few months on Christian Research and why that is so important for global mission. Others in production are on the Arts, on Disability Concerns, and on Leadership Development. The interviews for these three were done last August in Jakarta, Indonesia. The first Global Classroom on the topic of Diaspora is live on the Lausanne website. Go to this link to see the video. Feel free to use it for group or personal learning. Pray that we can get all of these produced this year. Pray also for the Lord to provide more team members.

Kim keeps busy with her role as LifeGroups Coordinator at our church. God is using her cross-cultural experience and gifts in many ways. Currently she is learning Spanish to help out the Spanish speaking LifeGroups. She is really motivated and spends several hours each week practicing. Pray she can learn it fast. In between all this, we keep busy with our kids and their relationships, our grandkids, and our parents. God is so good. We never dreamed we would be able to impact the world globally in the roles we have after we left the Philippines. The Lord has opened up just the right possibilities for us to make the most impact for him according to our gifting, calling, and passions. Prayer has made all the difference!
