Pray for those affected by the flooding in Manila and the Philippines right now. Rains are expected to continue until Thursday. Our pastor and his wife, Eniong and Sandra Hilario, had to be evacuated from their home. Many others in the church have floodwaters in their homes. Kim and Danya’s Fantastic Trip to Ecuador!

In 2012, Newsletters by burdickLeave a Comment

We have some good news to share with you.  Our time in Ecuador was absolutely wonderful!  Danya and I were part of a team of 18 mothers, daughters (and a few grandmothers!) and though the majority of us had never met in person until we arrived at the Miami airport en route to Ecuador, we got along so well and it was obvious that God had not only put the team together, but He …

Thanks so much for praying! Kim’s mother, Starr Craig, has completed chemo-therapy treatments and is doing very well. The doctors say she is now producing healthy blood cells and they are very pleased with her response to the treatments. One of the side effects of this particular treatment however is to lose all immunity against other diseases or infections. Because of this, Starr cannot be exposed to anyone with any kind of contagious illness until …

Please Pray for Kim’s Mother

In 2012, Newsletters by burdickLeave a Comment

Dear Faithful Pray-ers, We need your prayers for Kim’s mother, Starr Craig. She was preparing to have knee replacement surgery today, but preliminary blood tests revealed that she has Leukemia. Instead of having knee surgery today, she is having chemo-therapy. We were with her folks last week to celebrate Starr’s 65th birthday. She went into the hospital the next day. She has a long hill to climb with all the treatments to come. Pray for …
