Welcome Rowan!

Rowan Beck Burdick, son of Dawson and Leah, entered the world on September 2, 2020! He was seven weeks premature, but came home after only two weeks in the NICU. He is doing very well! We celebrate his life with Dawson and Leah and are so proud. Rowan is their first child, and our fourth grandchild. Please pray for him as he grows, and for Dawson and Leah as they parent and care for him.

Dawson and Leah!

We celebrated the marriage of Dawson to Leah Seith on April 28. We are so proud of them and know the Lord has brought them together. They went to Thailand and China on their honeymoon. Dawson has a new job as a video animator and designer for a company in Charlotte. Leah works as the head pastry chef for a country club in Charlotte. Pray for them as they start their married life.

South Africa and Rome!

Brent went to South Africa in February to film interviews for the Lausanne Global Classroom on Creation Care. Lausanne has a global network of people that discuss, write, convene, and promote care of creation as a gospel issue. This means that when Christians take care of creation, it reflects God’s care for us and is a means by which people can come to know God. The basis for this is John 10:10, where Jesus said, …
